This space will be used as final draft space for thoughts and ideas I have regarding future technological scenarios and how they might affect people and the world. The focus will be primarily on potential personal + social benefits of these ideas. Other issues will be brought up within some articles, such as the ‘What are we losing?’ factor of an idea, and thoughts on how an idea impacts previous theories within a related subject matter, i.e. Architecture, etc.

Within many of the following posts and articles I will add to an already existing innovation or insight. This usually leads me to a deeper understanding of the innovation or insight I am working off of, and it sometimes adds confidence in a previously understood point of view. If I do not write things down, many of my ideas begin to cloud over one another and the context of an innovation or a field will become more complicated than I had previously thought. This space will hold the results of my attempt to separate my thoughts. In doing this I hope to add to my understanding of an innovation and/or add to an already existing context.

In the following posts I will first provide some background of a given innovation and then give examples of potential implications others have suggested. Secondly I will post about my own ideas regarding the innovation or subject matter. These will usually consist of small images and diagrams that I have made while developing my ideas. When I have found a new idea that is somewhat meaningful I will then begin to rationalize the implications of it. In addition to each posted article there will also be an image or collage version of the post. This image will be an alternative to simply reading a post; it will contain not only the text from the post, but also graphics and will be used as a first attempt for visualizing the idea. Some posts will be image only (PDF) and some posts will include links to an interactive file (SWF). A cropped portion of the image will be in the beginning of each post.
